Dear NCA Parents,
As we learn more about the tragic incident in Newtown, Connecticut, our hearts go out to the Sandy Hook Elementary School community. This is an emotional issue as it relates closely to our lives as parents and educators. We offer our sincerest condolences to the families for their tremendous loss. In light of this tragic news, we know that many Northside parents may have heightened concerns regarding emergency procedures. We want you to be assured that Northside Christian Academy has made many preparations to deal effectively with emergency situations that could occur in or around the school. Our goal is to be as prepared as we can be for any potential emergency. We have emergency plans in place, and we practice drills, to help protect all students and staff from harm. In addition, we work in partnership with local police and fire departments to ensure our schools are as safe as possible.
As we move forward this week, our team will continue to be available to support students as needed. It is important that our students feel safe at school so they can continue to learn and grow academically and socially. We will do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of your children.
Tony Fajardo, M.S.
