We love hearing wonderful stories about our alumni, especially when they are doing great things in their communities! Kevin Johnson, ’81 has spent much of his life as a missionary as well as a nurse. As you can see, his life has been devoted to Christ and to serving others – and now he’s been featured in this recent Lincoln-Times News article regarding his proficiency and passion in the world of nursing. Johnson spent 9 years on the mission field in Africa before becoming a full time nurse. He serves at Carolina’s Healthcare System in Lincolnton and has been quite respected by fellow employees and is highly regarded as a model nurse. His profession as a trauma nurse has allowed him to continue caring for others and ministering to them and believes that this is a calling in his life.
He truly has a servant’s heart and has been an inspiration to the folks at Northside Christian Academy, Northside Baptist Church, and of course, every community that he has ever lived in. We are certainly proud of Kevin and all of the wonderful ways he’s served Christ and others throughout his life and we are happy to call him a “KNIGHT!” Take a read; you will be inspired and encouraged! http://www.lincolntimesnews.com/2014/10/03/local-nurse-named-among-top-100-in-state/
